Abstract

The article shows the spatio-temporal dynamics of the typhoid pandemic on the territory of Ukraine in 1919 – 1923. An attempt was made to determine the structure of typhus morbidity and mortality. On the case of the Ukrainian Galician Army, the Army of Ukrainian People’s Republic and the rebels of Middle Dnieper region the impact of the epidemic on the combat capability of the troops in 1919 – 1921 was shown.
