Abstract
Academic technology transfer is the gradual process of transfer of an invention from an academic environment to a company (start-up) for its refinement and adaptation to the needs and demands of consumers [1]. Therefore, studying and adopting the experience of a successful model of academic technology transfer in leading European countries will be useful for the introduction and development of technology transfer in Ukrainian educational and scientific institutions.
