Резюме

In the midst of crisis, the stock market’s efficiency tends to decrease due to growing uncertainty and chaos in the financial environment. The purpose of the research was to analyze the stock market’s efficiency on the example o f the European countries (Germany, France, Italy and Spain) in the crisis period 2020-2021. The practical value of the research lies in revealing the dependence of the European stock markets on external shocks through the economic slowdown in the European countries, dependence on the state o f the US and Chinese economies, trading policy and demand for Chinese consumers goods.
